Twists and turns as a clever policeman investigates the death of an abusive businessman who has recently divorced his wife and taken custody of their only child, by revealing her past as a porn star. LAURA LOHNER is his prime suspect in a web of S&M games filled with prostitutes and high class hookers. There’s one problem: Laura has the perfect motive…but she also has the perfect alibi. When FRANK LOHNER is found shot dead execution style, with six bullets to his body and an unconscious (and drugged) beautiful prostitute at his side, DETECTIVE ADAMS suspects Laura Lohner and sets out to question STAR, the young prostitute about her connections to Laura. As he delves deeper into the suspicious connections between the two women, the detective sets a trap to catch Laura in the act of pulling strings. He convinces Star she too is a victim, even though Laura has been the only one to protect her from her vicious ex-boyfriend SID…who coincidentally acted with Laura back in the day. As Detective Adams closes in on Laura, he is convinced he can get her to confess, and save Star from her obsession with the manipulative Laura. But who is playing whom? And who is the real victim?

Teacher and first time filmmaker, Jennifer Casriel, uses her relationship with her high school students to help capture their memories of 9/11. The 10th graders interviewed for the film were six years old and entering 1st grade in 2001. In working on the film, it became apparent that this story is about more than the students' memories. It is about resilience, optimism and how life goes on. It is also about families and how they handled communicating the events and meaning of this tragic day. Some students interviewed their parents, who reflected upon their memories and their concerns for their children and what they did to protect their child's innocence. 'It Was a Tuesday' provides a unique, delicate, perspective to an event that affected all of us.

From the producer of MEAN CREEK, comes the debut feature from writer-director Jesse Wolfe. EYE OF THE HURRICANE is a compelling family drama about a small Everglades community struggling to put their lives back together in the wake of a devastating hurricane. In the spirit of films such as “Stand By Me” and “To Kill A Mockingbird” EYE OF THE HURRICANE, is told through the eyes of a determined child, a troubled adolescent, a wounded parent and a loyal friend. The story begins after the hurricane has passed and takes us on an incredible journey towards understanding the strength of the human spirit. When nine-year-old Homer Kyte awakes to find that he has lost an eye in the storm, he and his best friend begin a search to find the missing orb. As they explore the alien landscape of demolished homes, abandoned cars and flooded roads, the rest of the family does their best to deal with the shock and loss. Amelia Kyte, Homer‘s mother, holds vigil outside the local Air Force base trying to get any information about the fate of her husband whose plane is rumored to be lost in the storm. Meanwhile Renee, Homer‘s sixteen-year-old sister, must deal with the maze of paperwork and FEMA procedures all on her own. Family friend and local fisherman, Bill Folsom, tries to keep watch over young Homer while he deals with the wreckage from the storm in his own peculiar way. Homer‘s search intensifies and he devises a daring plan with the help of his friends to visit the only man he thinks can help him, a mystical Seminole Medicine Man. Homer’s journey sends his family and the community into a new panic as they rally to find Homer and bring the boy back from the majestic

n the 1980s, something changed the world forever. Computer technology, mostly due to the appearance of affordable Commodore 64s, entered households worldwide, providing the opportunity for everyone to create digital art. Computers provided an opportunity for the creator to produce visuals and sound effects and combine them to create the ultimate audiovisual experience, by using only the language of mathematics and writing program code, without physical interaction. Computer technics is the fastest developing part of our world, which produces more and more new opportunities for art. Moleman shows you now a digital subculture, where artists don't use always the latest technology, but their aim is also to bring out the best from 30 year-old computer technics.

Benjamin Haad is a 30-year old native New Yorker. He drives a cab in post 9/11 New York City in order to support his obsession for acting, in spite of his Muslim parents’ demand for him to get a real job, get married and get a “life”. But Ben has no time for love and certainly no desire to look for it. He’s headed for Hollywood and nothing’s going to get in his way. Enter Helen Clark, 28, beautiful, smart, and an aspiring photographer irresistible and their relationship rapidly blossoms into something wonderful. Chaos ensues when we discover that Ben is under investigation by the F.B.I. who believes that he may be part of a terrorist sleeper cell that is planning an attack on the citizens of New York. Ben leads a confused group of agents on a merry chase through the streets of dumb shmuck trying to land a role in a Tom Cruise movie. Ben and Helen’s relationship comes to an abrupt HALT when Helen’s father, a high-ranking retired General, warns her of Ben’s clandestine activities and spirits her away to a secret hiding place leaving the two lovers heart-broken. Helen questions the evidence, which seems irrefutable - or is it? Is Ben a terrorist, a cab driver or just another wannabe actor who cant see past his own cue cards. All is revealed in the final, frenetic surprise ending.

Arty and Sara Cooper live in a small New England town and have just lost their only son, 21 year old Jacob Cooper 6 months ago in the Iraq war serving with the US Army. The marriage, now strained, Arty takes long walks into the woods bereaving his sons loss and remembering the days of encouragement he taught his child growing up.The town also tries to cope with their loss but things become extremely tense when the house next door that was vacant now has new neighbors from a country Arty so much hates, Iraq. There is a lump in his throat of anger but also a fear for one of the occupants in the new 3 person household is a little girl who's eyes seem to go right through to Arty's soul. It is from this that Arty begins to build a fence between the two properties . But no matter how much Arty hates, it is the little girl who shows Arty that love still exists and has never left. This is a story about forgiveness and a understanding that the people on the other side of the fence are really not the enemy but are more similar than could have ever thought. This is a very timely piece.
