‘58th and 5th’ follows three different street vendors working the corner of 58th Street and 5th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The film focuses on Ken, a disabled American Veteran who struggles to control his own rage. Ken’s wartime disabilities are not just physical, they’re mental, and while he may appear sweet and kind on the surface, his anger boils deep down. As we delve deeper into Ken’s psyche we learn how those around him try to cope with his antics and soon discover what it really means to be a street vendor.
